Cailey Massey is a Burlington born artist with a strong drawing and painting background.  Her work is heavily reliant on preliminary research and conceptual development.  Massey manipulates her source imagery to create a fluid connection between subject matter and concept.  Working mostly in oils and acrylics on canvas, Massey breaks up the surface with unexpected lines and shapes. Her bold use of colour grabs your attention, while her intricate process of layering draws the viewer closer.

Massey has a Bachelor of Fine Arts, major in Fine Art degree from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University.
